Celtics should take care of buisness. On offense they should be fine. Not sure if the chemistry is gone be there on defense. Perkins gave the Celtics a toughness in the paint.

yeah actually I liked the Jazz at first impression but now I think BOS will have no problem taking care of 4 points on the road, only problem is half the time you go into these games and the underdog manages to win at home

agree with texhooper.....jazz +4 is the play imo, think they continue their hot shooting from last game and win this one though. Celts w/o perkins will struggle against jefferson and the jazz in this one, jazz in a real good position in this game i think.

Going with Jazz too. Even though they lost chemistry, so had Boston. Getting rid of Perkins will really hurt Boston. Jazz get some swagger back with the home crowd and win outright.

Aren't the Jazz 1-6 under Corbin? How can you back them till they prove they can win?

I like the logic in this thread: Jazz bad, so bet Celtics not a great NBA strategy.

Celts are still meshing and haven't looked right since the trades. They will come right eventually and I think they still probably cover the -4, but I won't be having much on it. They scraped past a very tired Clippers yesterday and were horrid against Denver.

-4, and they laid -5.5 to nuggets w/o Carmelo.

Is it that small of a line? Its equivalent to the Celts being a 10-11 pt home favorite, which is right around the highest they've been this year (except for Kings, Nets, maybe 1 or 2 more).

Green looked good last game, Krstic definitely struggled with Rondo's style though. Part of what makes Rondo so good is his ability to sell a fake... the guys he's played with know when he will fake and pass to them, and when he'll do what it looks like he's doing. Krstic really struggled with getting ready for rebounds too early rather than keeping an eye on Rondo. Not sure how long it will take him to pick this up.

As far as I know, there are still 3 open spots for whoever they plan on signing, so it will be a small bench again. After a poor showing in the first half last game, I think Doc will be on the team to start out much stronger and take the crowd out early. I think the bench group of Delonte, Baby, and Green will show up big tonight.

boston was short-handed against denver. they played with 8 players. and also denver was full roster with new trade pieces. so denver win was normal. i had bet denver +4,5. but today boston has nenad krstic and jeff green.
