    Monday, ATL @ DEN -6
I really like Denver on Monday. The Hawks will be playing their 5th game in 7 days, B2B from @POR on Sunday. It's also their last game in a 5 game west coast road trip. They're in a really tough spot here, and I think the Nuggets will handle them easily.

    Denver -6 (-105) x3

You guys are underrating ATL. No opinion on this game, but Atl will snap out of their slump sooner then you think.

The greatest strength of the play comes more from the position the team is in, not who they are. Give me almost any team in the tough spot that the Hawks are in on Monday and I'll take the Nuggets without hesitation.

Nuggs may be coming off the initial high the trade gave them and ATL might be looking to build on the nice win in GS and should have Hinrich starting by then, they are on the way up. I dont really believe in them being too tired, everyone had a nice break last weekend.

Not saying they cover this game but they are on their way back up imo.

Back to back with the second game in Denver's high altitude has a lot to play in it.

Atl has a 5 game lead above Knicks for the 6th seed. A possible game off or tired legs will play a lot into it.

                      Denver -6 is very possible

Atlanta played pretty good defense for the most part last night - they may keep this closer than 6 but I wouldnt touch this game. Best of luck

denver has a deep lineup and players seem to be playing hard

atl may be tired for this game

The last 2 teams the Hawks have played (GS,Por) couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. Unbelievable luck playing 2 teams in a row that can't make a shot. Hawks have a good defense but many of the shots are just flat out wide open misses.

ATL defends the 3 point line as good as anyone in the league, not good for teams like GS, Den.

I do think b2b in Den + last game on the trip + Bulls next + off 2 wins may be satisfied getting that considering how the trip started + Knicks beat the Hawks recently with the new Nuggs players playing well = value imo.

But i still think people are underrating ATL.

I agree to a point about Atl defense but alot of the shots taken by GS,Por was wide open misses. Gamblers experince variance during the course of a season and so do basketball teams. Atl has played 2 games recently where the team they were playing couldn't even make a wide open look let alone a contested shot.

ATL may be underrated, but in the grand scheme of things they are the biggest posers in the NBA. They are begging to be eliminated Round 1 of the playoffs.

Atl has played 2 games recently where the team they were playing couldn't even make a wide open look let alone a contested shot.

ATL may be underrated, but in the grand scheme of things they are the biggest posers in the NBA. They are begging to be eliminated Round 1 of the playoffs.
Not sure what makes them posers, its not like people think they are title contenders. They are a good mid level play-off team. 5th seed currently so technically they should be eliminated in the 1st round. Magic, Knicks are the posers imo, Atl are who they are i doubt anyone overrates them.

They are posers because they can't compete against the elite teams let alone win when it counts. They went to a game 7 against the Bucks without Bogut and got destroyed by the Magic in the 2ndR. They also have random home games where they lose by 30 pts. They also have a max contract guy (joe johnson) that is one of the biggest jokes as a max contract player in NBA history. Thank god for Chris Bosh is what JJ is thinking

Atlanta has set a franchise record for road wins this season. Denver has been hot since Melo is out of town. I like the hawks +6 tonight. They beat up on a pretty good Trailblazer team, with Camby back. I can see Crawford puting in 30 tonight

I like it. Hawks played a b2b last year in Denver and got beat by 20 pts. Like the Nuggets right now, feel like they have something to prove and Hawks just played two teams that couldn't hit any shots. Denver won't have that problem tonight.

The Hawks play well against teams when their overall athleticism and rough, physical playing style offer them an advantage over their opponents. Case in point, last night. The Blazers are largely composed of finesse players that play a slower paced, less physical game. They couldn't match up inside vs Horford/Pachulia/Smith.

Denver is a much more physical, athletic team that plays at a fast pace (3rd fastest in the league) and is capable of establishing themselves in the paint, spreading the defense and allowing their perimeter shooters to perform against ATL's solid 3pt defense.. Should be a good game.
