Play of the Night for me: Knicks -7.5.
Cavs are likely to be without new addition Baron Davis,
and multiple reports say even if he somehow makes it, he'll be
coming off the bench. Cavs will of course be without Williams and Moon,
who they traded. We all know that the Varejao injury made this team
a non-starter this year. They won't have any success matching up against
the Knicks tonight. Expect Amare and Carmelo to eat them up like a
cheap bag of potato chips. They get the cover tonight, in what will
be the new-look Knicks first blowout win.

line seems inflated especially with the Knicks playing the Heat next. Also the way the refs give free throws to the Cavs keeps them in a lot of games.

I think the Cavs are a better play here. Knicks won off an adrenaline rush of Melos 1st game that happened to be his Garden debut. Davis will join the Cavs on Saturday but they still have Sessions-Parker-JJ-Jamison. Not mind blowing but with the undisciplined Knicks no doubt thinking ahead to their HUGE hyped match up with the Heat should be enough to stay within 7 at home.

good luck with that theory. not buying it. this is only Melo's 2nd game.
I don't think they are looking ahead to anything. Knicks still need every
win they can get, I can see the separation in points being deep enough
for the cover. You won't be betting on the Cavs, anyway.

The only thing I have against this theory is that Carmelo is coming over with his point guard. And he is also playing with a downlow athletic big man. Sort of like a Kobe-Shaq dynamic where its not hard for these two players to gel. I teased them down to 4.5 anyway.

They didn't look that great playing together the other day. Melo took a ton of shots, Amare didn't get much. So experts dont think they complement each other at all. Shouldn't matter much vs the Cavs but being new along with the Heat next should be a factor. You're really kidding yourselves if the Knicks are not thinking about the Heat right now, all the Knicks do is to be like the Heat, all Melo drama has been more about wanting the same spot light as Lebron. I wouldn't be surprised if Melo has like a 5-25 game tonight.

really. an 8th year vet with 46% career FG is just gonna shoot 20% at Cleveland.
                        yup. ok.

Are you for real? What does 8th year vet or shooting 46% career have to do with anything. Its one freaking game, you never heard of a 46% career shooter have a bad night? Its not that unheard of, Melo shot 10/25 in his last game btw. Mind blowing isnt it.

I would roll with the Cavs here, not sure about Knicks yet and an 8 point road favorite is difficult for any team to cover, let alone a question mark in the NY Knicks. The Cav's will be getting lots of points for the rest of the season and they may be a sharp pick for the rest of the year, ATS of course.

And of course, you gotta love a Friday night home dog

Knicks are the clear choice in this game. Even though the cavs have new addtions so do the knicks.

Im pretty sure that Melo and Billups are better than Baron Davis!

I dont normally run around bumping every thread saying i told you so, but in this case, since its my beloved Knicks who i despise more then anything and Caralema i'll make an exception.

Not quite 2/25, but 9/22 and 6 fouls ain't too far off. And a day after calling his former coach a SNAKE on twitter because he called him out on not playing defense, this superstar poser and his bitch ass hype machine loser team get wacked by the ******* Cavs. LMAO. Karma is a mother ******* bitch you peace of shit ballerina.

Hey Knick fans, how'd you like that stupid smile on Dumbellos face after the 2nd time he fouled Jamison off the ball in the 4th sending him for 4 freethrows. LOL.
