Too many unpredictability what speed mode teams chooses to play. While the point spread is much easier, and you don't even have to look at stats. I can go 5-1 by just guessing the spread.

I'm with you 100%. Mentally the spread feels way different too. It feels like a factor that still has a chance at turning around & cashing till the very end (particularly in the close situations). With a point total, if you pick the Under and the total sails Over, there's no point in watching the game anymore once it has gone Over.
