It clearly wasn't fair at all so canceling the bets is the right thing to do, imho.

Why wasn't it fair? I placed a bet on Mcgee and clearly he was the winner to the judges but at the end of the day the fans voted. I honestly would have not placed that bet if I knew it would rely on the fans because he clearly has homecourt.

Blake Griffin -280 was free money. Next time do the research and understand what your betting on.

I don't think they should be able to cancel it, they shouldn't have put it up in the first place if they are that worried. They should realize by now that the contest is biased and set-up for the most part. Griffin was playing in his hometown and is way more popular than the other contestants, he's the next big star with a lot of hype, not much was going to stop him winning.

I didn't even know it counted for All Star MVP luckly I am just placing small bets but I won the AS MVP one with Kobe. Lesson learned for next year.

Blake Griffin could only lose by knocking himself out, by hitting his head on the backboard. Judges are disorganized and biased. Betting anyone but Griffin was flushing money down the toilet.

Considering how many fools there are crying about this, no.

I'm getting the feeling that the books actually made money on the Dunk Contest. Common sense would have told you it was fixed. Even Nate Robinson said this would happen a few months ago. And if anyone knows about a fixed dunk contest, it's him.

blake griffin almost lost with that one dunk he couldn't get and only made it in the last few seconds otherwise he'd have been out and your "free money' play would have lost

The dunk contest is a popularity contest, that's why the books gave such amazing prices for players who were clearly better dunkers. Yet they knew Griffin was a sure bet. I think they did pretty well to trap people here.

To answer the question posed, I made a hefty profit on the Blake Griffin to win the dunk contest. No I didn't bet my house and my mom on it because I have a sensible money management. I still stand by my statement. On another note, you can always tell who the losers are at sbr. They are the ones with the attitudes. Attacking others and just plain bitching. If you can't win and you aren't enjoying the game then get the **** out!

Blake was destine to win, why would a Sportsbook even make odds on it when they know it is bias?
