I hope they bring the All-Star game to Chicago some time soon. They haven't hosted it here since the early Jordan era of the late 80's. Many of you have seen one of his legendary dunks from that year's dunk contest (1988).
Cold weather cities certainly host it here & there. I believe Minneapolis got it in 1995 & NYC got it at the tail end of the Jordan era in 1998.Comment -

Eh, I disagree. I even think random-ass small market cities should be able to host it sometimes. Could be a nice boost to their local economy. Could you imagine an All-Star game in Milwaukee? All the visiting groupies & brothas can feast on some bratwurst, beer & cheese. LOL.
