when it comes down to it. if you were around back than.... coleman didn't live up to the hype.

he did for the first year or so. but he basically plateaued and peaked in his rookie year and never much better.

was he good? yeah.... did he live up to expectations? not really

was he better than JK or Bernard King? not even close

Coleman had the most talent though I remember when I was a kid I would play NBA showdown '94 on genesis and play a team of 5 Derrrick Coleman's vs. a team of 5 of any other guys and he would win great all around game
