i stopped putting money on the lakers a long time ago. I used to bet on the the bulls and trust phils halftimes adjustment. But they dont have the athketes this year. I will bet anyone that the lakers dont play in the finals.

Yea the perimeter offense/defense is embarrassing.

Derek Fisher still has two more years of his contract to finish. You think he is retiring any time soon???

The Lakers have to play a slow game and take good shots to be effective. There transistion defense is also horrid. There athletes look a step slower this year and are slower than the nightly competetion.. However, the Lakers still have there lenghth and Kobe...other than that they are average. Defenses are doubling and fronting the post because there perimiter threats are very limited. I doubt the Lakers beat anybody from knocking down 3's and stretching the defense unless Kobe just does it but that is only on occassion.

I really dont care about the semantics of the Lakers makeup.

If you are a real contender.. You roll the Cavs early, and never look back!!!!
