Raptors team total over 22.5 1st quarter

This is meaningless game for both teams. Both teams will be looking to work on offense. The pistons already know that they can play defense and so the raptors. Sometimes its much better to take the overs on team totals that are 24 points or less and its even better to take unders on high team totals over 27. Most people equate low over unders for a game going under and high over unders for a game going over. Tonite I had the blazers going over 23.5 team total and the blazers score 37 points in the first quarter.

I have a feeling Detroit will play pretty soundly today, but even w/ that happening the team total can still certainly cash. Good luck Tab.

Pistons team total Under 96

This game is more important for the raptors. The raptors nor anyone else with the #7 seed want to the play the pistons in the first round. The pistons did score over 100 points against the raptors the first two times they played this season. Hamilton scored a season high 39 points against the raptors on Jan 15 as the pistons won 103-89. Hamilton also scored 22 points against the raptors on Jan 4, as the pistons won 101-85. Hamilton had missed 8 games before coming back against the Wizzards. THe pistons may be out of sync with Hamilton in the lineup. Most of the pistons high scoring games were against the western conference. Against eastern conference teams, the pistons did not score much. 96 points is lot to score against the raptors who are tyring to win this game and avoid being the number 7 seed.

if detroit plays their starters theres no reason why detroit shouldnt win by dd. detroits defense and their team chemistry is top notch and to cover 6 1/2 shouldnt be hard.

Pistons are not that great. They are in overall a weak conference. If the Pistons were in the western conference and had to deal with different styles of playing basketball, they will not do well. They will not cover the 6 point spread today to the raptors.

Tab, What is your take on the first quarter tt O/U for the Houston/Denver game? The line for Denver is 27.5, which seems high as a first quarter number in most games, but this seems like it may be a high scoring game what with the line for game total being 208. Also, with Dnver being a high scoring team, would you go with Dnever over 27.5? Thanks.
