Amare Stoudemire will miss his first game of the season on Saturday due to a sprained right big toe.

Wilson Chandler will slide into the Knicks' starting lineup, and for the moment Amare should be considered day-to-day. Fortunately, New York doesn't play again until Wednesday (at home vs. Atlanta) but Donnie Walsh was unsure whether Amare will even be ready for the All-Star game.
