Boston Celtics host the LeBron James & the Miami Heat - NBA Free Pick
The top two teams in the NBA’s Eastern Conference square off in Boston this afternoon as the Boston Celtics host the Miami Heat.

The timing is pretty good if you’re a Miami fan. They move into the top spot in the Eastern Conference right before they play Boston again. If nothing else it gives us another great betting opportunity and secondly both teams will approach this one like a playoff game. It’s as good as it gets for a regular season contest.

    Miami Heat (39-14 SU & 27-25-1 ATS)
The Miami Heat are alone at the top of the Eastern Conference and comfortably ahead in the Southeast Division.
The Heat has won eight straight games since defeating Detroit on Jan. 28. That game was a close one but Friday night’s contest ended up being a rout with Miami winning 106-92. Dwyane Wade flirted with a triple-double scoring 24 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists while LeBron James finished with 16 points, nearly 10 points below his season average.
It appears that the Big 3 are living up to their billing. During the current winning streak James is averaging 26.4 points, 7.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game, Wade is scoring at a 25.2 PPG clip and Bosh has contributed18.2 points and eight rebounds per night.
Not much is made about Miami’s bench but it’s been an integral part of the streak. In its last six games, the team’s reserves have averaged 29.6 points per game compared to 23.6 during the first 47 games of the season.

The Heat are 17-10-1 ATS on the road this season compared to a 10-15 ‘money’ mark at home. They own a SU record of 15-9 and are 14-10-1 to the ‘over’ when playing away from South Beach.
