Im not new to sports betting just new to wanting to do some wagering online. And not wanting to get ripped off. I do see the links on this site. But just wanting your opinions on who is top notch.

5 dimes has been very good to me, great lines, lightning fast payout, no complaints or outstanding debts by anyone, I highly recommend it....

betonline is also good...really easy to get money on using credit card, takes 20 minutes tops, lines are basically same as big books, can choose variety of signup bonus (i took -105 for most wagers)...withdrawls are pricey, i think 35 $ per payout or something like that, no transfers with ANY other book, otherwise also very safe....hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to pm me, best of luck

I have accounts with 5 different books and I prefer BETUS. They have good customer service and payouts are quick. They also give you a 25% freeplay bonus and a 10% casino bonus. They also give you more options to bet on. I like betting on team totals per quarter, half and game. Just go online and check out their site.

DO NOT deposit at BetUS original poster....

Play at 5dimes, Matchbook, Betjamaica etc... Read the recommended list at SBR but avoid Bodog.

Also avoid Bookmaker for baseball, go with sister site DSI instead.

I would rate Matchbook and WSEX highest in integrity and trustworthiness. If you're not in US, add Pinnacle and Canbet. These books know their business through and through, and your money is 100% safe.

Three of the four have reduced juice; starting with best juice: Matchbook, Pinnacle, Canbet, WSEX.

Of these four Pinnacle is lowest in customer service. The rest is excellent in that area.

Matchbook has experienced some internet access problems recently, but the much improved juice (only 1% fee for baseball) more than makes up for that.

Matchbook is also pretty much the center of the offshore universe for free book-to-book transfers to other quality books. This comes in handy when they don't offer the bet you're looking for.

Legality wise, Pinnacle and Canbet operate in legal territories. And of the offshore books targeting the US, there is just one that has shown a willingness to directly stand up to the US, to the point of doing prison time and remaining in business: WSEX (Matchbook is connected to WSEX). In other words, in terms of possible future intimidations by the US, this book has already proven itself. It won't run off at the first sign of trouble, like Pinnacle and WWTS.

Another plus for WSEX is that they scan the forum here. If there's a problem, they are typically very quick to respond and resolve it. Heck, even the guy that did the jail time shows up from time to time.

Added word of advice: don't deal with amateurs. Most offshore books think they can make up for their mistakes, and lack of security, because they hold your money. Don't get caught in that dynamic. Simple rule of thumb: if a book does not play by Vegas rules, avoid it. That should leave no doubt about the outcome of bets, and also means that once the wager is graded (and ticket cashed), the book can never go back into your account to adjust your balance or hold your money hostage.

A broad answer is any book that is rated B or higher is pretty safe. The higher the rating, the safer the book. Sports Book Review
