Boston Celtics @ Washington Wizards 4/09
    excerpt from ESPN Preview

They (Celtics) won 107-104 in overtime at Milwaukee on Tuesday, as Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen all returned to the lineup after sitting out Saturday's 101-78 victory at Charlotte. The trio didn't play after the third quarter against the Bucks, even as Boston blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead.

The Celtics' reserves managed to hold on, as Tony Allen had 17 points and James Posey added 16. Even though coach Doc Rivers said his stars could play "a little more" against the Wizards, Washington may see more of the same from the Celtics.

"I just don't want our guys playing big minutes down the stretch," Rivers said.
i wonder what the lines are gonna be on this game. initial lean is on the wizards esp if they are getting pts. the 'other big three' might all play on this game altho butler is listed as questionable as of now. arenas and jamison are probable also the wiz are 2-1 in this series.

if u can find more info, kindly post them here. esp abt players who might or might not play on this game.

this is just a reminder to proceed with caution involving eastern conf teams who have clinched playoff spots already.

Wizzards team total over 24 (1st Quarter)

This game is irrelevant for the celtics. The celtics will be slightly fatigued after a overtime victory. The Wizzards are capable of scoring 30 points against a celtic team that rather care less about this game. They want to remain healthy. They will rest their starters especially after playing an overtime game. If the wizzards hit some early 3's, this will be an easy over.

well the book i went to was harrahs. i think one of the owners of this casino is part-owner of the celtics too so celtics game are always off the board. needless to say, i dont have any bets on this game. i do hope wizards wins this one tho. ill take it as a confidence builder for me, if u will.

          goodluck all!

Garnett, Allen, and Pierce are all playing. Doc Rivers better not play them heavy minutes...
