Dallas Mavericks vrs NY Knicks
This game tonight at MSG is looking like it will be a great game. These teams only met twice (2) last year with Dallas destroying the Knicks at home by 50 points ( Dal 128 Knicks 78). Knicks went to Dallas late in the season and returned the favor by winning by 34 points (Knicks 128 Dal 94) . This is the first meeting of the season for these clubs.
The Mavericks have won five (5) games in a row as Nowitzki, Kidd and Chandler have been playing great ball as of late. The offense has been averaging 97.2 points a game but the defense has been only giving up 94.5 points a game. Mavs have mostly been relying on their Defense more than their offense so far this season. Mavs last played Monday against a poor Washington team.
The Knicks have been playing much better than anyone may of thought as of the beginning of the season. Knicks have played very well at home this season so far too. Stoudemire seems to be having a MVP season this year as he has become the Team Leader. He has a sprained knee and should of sat out the last game but he decided to play. His presence on the court motivated not only himself but his teammates as well in their last win. Knicks are averaging 106.5 points a game on Offense and giving up an average of 106 points a game on defense.
I think tonight the Mavs will be forced to push the ball a little more up and down the court then they may want to. Knicks love to run at home. I believe that points will be flying high in tonight’s contest and this game may even be looking like an Over time thriller! The play of the night is OVER 210!
