The Grizz are home dogs to the Magic who doesn't usually beats +.500 teams on the road (learned that the hard way lately).
I think Memphis should be a great play tomorrow.

just finished analysing this game. These two teams, on the season, are extremely close. The line is right about where it should be in this spot. I really like the UNDER more than either side. If I had to pick a side, I would go with Memphis because they are home and rested, and I would rather take points than give in this match-up. good luck with whatever you play Paul..

If Orlando had actually played a legitimate NBA team tonight the b2b would be a factor, but playing the cavs is like spending an hr at the gym for them, dunno about the spread but magic should get the win here.

Take Grizz because they play well against top competition. Fade orl because they blow against top competition on the road and they have a game vs the Heat next.

Since the trade, Orlando only beat one team at .500 or +, which was a Nowitzki/Butlerless Dallas.
They lost to Boston, OKC, NO and CHI.
Good spot for the Grizz who are deep enough with big man on the bench to cover Howard (Arthur, Z-Bo, Gasol, Thabeet).

Naturally I would go with Orlando here, but this is exaclty the type of game I always get wrong. memphis is the smarter pick here but I am going to stay away because Orlando's defense needs to take the shot away from Memphis, if its gone then they get blown out by 10 at least.

Memphis and under here. May even take a shot with the cavs with the points.

Gotta take Orlando or nothing.
Sometimes you over think a game because of the line, when you should really just take the better team.

I was thinking about this too. But the Heat game is on Thursday, giving Magic 2 full days rest in between. If the Heat game was tomorrow or day after my opinion would be different but I'm playing Magic here.

Turkoglu's back is hurting and its effecting his play. Orlando traveling on a back to back. Plus, the PUBLIC is pounding Orlando and the line hasn't budged.
Anyone know if Arenas is playing?

Memphis has covered 20 of last 28 games.
As a dog, they have covered 17 of 23.
Pretty good money maker of late.

Actually the line opened at ORL -2 and dropped down to -1.5... This means that the sharps are on Memphis. Makes sense to me.

Line opened at ORL -1, has gone to ORL -1.5, and will soon be -2.0.

This is a smart post. People analyze and think themselves sharps, and they forget the 'square' mentality that maybe Orlando will win simply because they are the better team.
That being said though, I'm on Grizz but just because my system gave me that play today.

No RLM, but line should be moving faster with the way ORL is getting hit. Memphis is the smart play here.

Line seems about right in this game. If you must make a play in this game, take the team that's more likely to execute down the stretch: Magic. By the way I don't think 90% of the public is on Orlando that's crazy. They have an inferior record on the road than the Grizz at home. The Bears being mauling inferior competiton lately plus Orlando is not particularly hot and the revenge angle. Plenty of people will take the Grizzly Bears I believe.

Line is low but Memphis has won 4 outta last 5. also orlando never seems to be able win beat +.500 teams on the road, compares to Memphis who seem to step up in big games. Not to mention something like 80% of the public is on orlando. The play here is Memphis. Only thing that could scare me is if it becomes a 3 point contest as orlando is first in the league in 3's and memphis is last.
