Cleveland +17.5 for tmrw!!! Largest spread in NBA?
I can't find any info on the largest NBA spreads ever posted in regular season. Anyone know what the largest spread has been in Vegas?

Regardless, the Cavs have covered in the last three of five games with one tie.
I think the value might start favoring the team no one wants to bet on.
Can the Heatles even care enough to blow them out past the spread? Orlando and Boston didn't do it at home. Might be good to throw in a parlay.

Miami smoked them in Cleveland though....I'm staying away from this game altogether.

Heat by 30. Cleveland covered barely vs BOS and ORL when the spread was 15+ but they won't hang around tomorrow.

Miami will likely take a 20 point or so advantrage going into the 4th, just as soon as the big three go for a rest; the cavs will get a backdoor cover. im taking the Under: http://forum.sbrforum.com/nba-basket...der-202-a.html

I agree could be a backdoor....plus it's back to back for the Heat...so they will prob rest starters in the 2nd half

Not sure about them being held to to so few points though. They scored 95 against Boston's D and seem to have been firing a lot more. I admit I don't like the game at all either. My play though would be on the Cavs to cover and the over.

Also, the Cavs were at Orlando. They dont have to travel as much the Heat do coming back from Oklahoma.

Is it really that difficult to check a few games back? You only need to go back 1 game, sigh.

No, this is not the largest spread.

I'd love to see the Cavs win(it would never happen) against the heat but I think a 4th quarter comback as the Heat are resting the stars will make them able to cover the spread, it is a tough one though since I could easily see this being another "lakers" game and a 40 point blowout.

17.5 is a big number, coming off an emotional finish tonight for the heat.

They were just +18 pt dogs last night and covered so its not even the biggest spread of the season. I think you always have a shot of backdoor cover in NBA with spreads this large.

If you want Heat I'd take them 1st Quarter. A pattern is developing in recent Cavs game: teams humiliate them early, then take it easy the last couple of quarters as the Cavs sneak in a backdoor cover.

Of course I looked back at the last game, but that was only +17. I do know if they lose four more games they'll have the record for consecutive losses. I just haven't seen an opening spread this large...

Where have you been? They've opened as 17 point dogs, like 5 times in the last month alone.

                                          Miami, Boston, Orlando for sure.

yup! good observation. i was thinking of Heat 1Q or 1st half but those options usually aren't available for me until tomorrow afternoon. sometimes they go up to -115... which i hate. any US books have 1st half stuff already?

agreed....i think they cover the game spread by halftime

betting the full game leaves room for them to backdoor like last night

I like the back door cover but I agree with 30k -10 1h looks good

I honestly think the +3000 moneyline is just wayyy too much for an NBA regular season game. I know hell would freeze over and all that if the cavs were to win but I'm throwing away some spare change here. Call it playin the lotto
