I think the recent Rose illness and Boozer injury played a part in the home dog status. However, as you know, Rose is this year's MVP and will not be denied a victory on his home court in a game that the Bulls had huge revenge motivation.

I was actually going to take Chicago until I heard Rose may not be 100%. It turns out everyone for Orlando (minus Howard) had a god awful game. Probably had a lot to do with Chicago's defense, but I don't think the line was off or anything.

I think I watched the worst nba game this year in these two teams playing like high schoolers
No emotion. No energy. No care in the world. I can't believe how many bad passes or horrible shots i've seen by each team tonight.......

But hey its one game out of 82 so why would these million dollar players give a $hit? A guy in a wheel chair with no legs could have moved quicker then any player in the 4th.....

It was because of Rose's condition. That is why I backed out of the Bulls ML bet.

Nelson going down in the 3rd didn't help the Magic's chances any.

Condition Shmendishin, i keep telling you guys if the guy plays he is 100%, there is no such thing as 75% or 82% or whatever. He was probable most of the day, he was not gonna miss this game period. If you bought into the hype and laid off then silly you. Bulls should not be a dog at home to anyone unless its confirmed that ROse is out 100%.

Yeah, I didn't agree with Chicago being underdogs either. That was a gift!

If any of you thought the Bulls played anywhere near mediocre then you didnt watch the game. They would have lost to the Cav's....
The Magic only had 7 offensive rebounds??!?!?!??!
                5-21 in 3 pt %
Bulls played OK and lucky they didnt play anyone else..

You can say that now. I'm sure you weren't feeling that at halftime.

The dude was hurting, and I couldn't lay my money on a team that could have their best player take himself out. His shooting shows he wasn't the same. I listen to a pregame interview of him talking that he could take himself out if the pain gets to bad. Anything could happen, like a shot to the stomach.

Don't give me this after the final.

Rose was shown a couple times on tv grabbing his gut and in pain. You think he had to take a massive $hit?

yes. my point exactly. he was not playing 100%.

he grabbed his gut = stomach a couple times when the camera was still on him

once when the ball was out of bounds after howard touched it in the 2nd i think. he went out to grab the ball and stretched out a bit to much obviously.

there is no way he played anywhere near his potential.

ANd he still put up 22-12 and 6 boards. So boo-hoo for grabbing his stomach. Bad shooting nights happen to everyone at any point, 99% or 53% doesn't matter. Another nice example was Paul Milsap today, another guy that was "questionable" dropped 30. Lebron bad ankle and all, what was it 39-8-8, Wade and his migranes last night was what 30-15? 14/18 shooting or something? If they play they are 100%.

Next time shoot your game before the start, not after.

I for one can't lay on a team with their best player hobbled or possibly on his way out of a game due to pain. I heard out of his own mouth that he could pull himself out of the game.

Plus the Bulls were lucky that Nelson went down, I'm sure that didn't help matters much for the Magic.

if you didnt think so your not very bright and are an idiot if you think he was 100%

the way orlando played on d my mom could have put up those numbers with the clean looks he had. There was hardly any pressure from the magic and they obviously deserved to lose.

The Magic CRUSHED the Bulls earlier in the season in Chicago. That may have played a role.

phoenix as a home dog was even more ridiculous. memphis, sacramento, charlotte, and detroit as road dogs were a complete joke--but wait--how do i know all that? oh yea, cause i'm looking at the scores.

I was really confused when I checked the line. I didn't get a chance to place a bet, but I definitely would have at Bulls +3 in Chicago versus the Pacers. The Pacers suck, and the Bulls are very good at home.
