    NBA Quick Tips
The DETROIT PISTONS are 20-8 against the spread in their last 28 games versus Eastern Conference teams. Pistons are a 2 point dog to New Jersey tonight.

ATLANTA HAWKS center Al Horford could miss at least two games with a sprained ankle suffered in Tuesday's win over Miami. Hawks lose 16 points and 10 rebounds a game with Big Al out tonight against New Orleans. Atlanta is a 4 point favorite.

WASHINGTON is 0-20 on the road, 5-15 against the spread, but they are 12-8 at home. They host Phoenix tonight as a small favorite.

CLEVELAND CAVS are losers of their last 14 games and have covered the spread just twice during the skid. If you ever just need a game to play, go against the Cavs and you will win more often than not.

MILWAUKEE center Andrew Bogut is traveling with the team this weekend but still is suffering from a virus he's had for nearly a month. Wednesday, he scored 6 points against Washington.

    For what it's worth.........................

Before the loss to Boston,The Pistons had won three in a row after coach John Kuester shook up his lineup, benching Richard Hamilton and inserting Greg Monroe at center and Tracy McGrady at point guard. It was the longest winning streak of the season for Detroit, which opened with an 11-26 record.
