    Gilbert Arenas

Gilbert Arenas was not cleared by the Wizards' medical staff to play in Sunday's game. He was very upset by the decision and said to reporters on his way out the door, "Ya'll don't have to write anymore. I'm not coming back this season."

This could have been an emotional reaction ("[Team doctors] are messing with my mind," he said), but coach Eddie Jordan ominously stated, "Once another week has gone by, we'll see where he is." Mar. 23 - 7:26 pm et

    Mickael Pietrus

The Warriors could be without forward Mickael Pietrus on Sunday, after he strained his groin against the Rockets on Friday.

Coach Don Nelson called Pietrus "questionable, for sure", and either Al Harrington or Matt Barnes would start at power forward if he can't suit up. Mar. 23 - 9:19 am et

    Jamaal Tinsley

Pacers point guard Jamaal Tinsley (sore knee) announced on Saturday that he will not return this season.

This comes as a shock to nobody. "I was going to try to come back eventually, but it was decided that I was done when I took my last MRI (on Friday)," Tinsley said. The results of the MRI are unknown and "sore knee" is still the official description of his injury. Hopefully Tinsley will stay healthy next year, but that's like asking the Knicks to win the championship. Mar. 23 - 7:19 pm et

    Jermaine O'Neal

Pacers center Jermaine O'Neal (sore knee) has been practicing with the team recently and says his knee is reacting great. He could return as soon as next week.

"I think the goal would be to try to get in the last 10 games," O'Neal said. "I think three or four more practices and we can evaluate if I can start playing next week or whenever." Mar. 23 - 7:46 pm et
