Buying 1/2 point on a 2.5 point spread in basketball? Is this game going to be that close or is this how you normally play? (No hook losses) Just wondering, if it's the latter, do you have any numbers to back up why you play it this way? (I buy 1/2 points a lot, but I don't have any data to back it up, wondering if you do)

Statistically 2 and 3 are critical numbers in hoops. I ONLY buy in those situations. I would have to dig up the data. So I will buy a dog to +2 or +3 or a fave to -2 or -3
