Spurs appears the better pick. Hawks/Kings looks like a game the Hawks could lose SU.

line movement favors spurs, but in the hawks game it appears to favor kings. I got the spurs game at it's lowest and the hwaks game at it's highest. We shall see I am sticking to both numbers at this point.

I like the Hawks tonight. Starting to play much better ball in their last 4 games and they need to beat up on bad teams to stay in the conversation for elite teams in the East.

If you can get the hawks number lower I would jump on it. I already posted this number at 5.5 so I am obligated to it now. Spurs game I really like spurs with the movement!

I took the bait and jumped on the Hawks as well. Kings have really turned things around lately though.

Why do you talk about movement?

Is every single sports game FIXED in some way or another?

Why does it matter public bets/big money backs on team? The better team on that day wins. No?

If you pay attention to the lines you can gain a slight edge and increase your winning %. It doesn't always work, but if you remain consistent over the long haul you will increase your odds of winning dramatically. It takes a while to adjust to this idea, but the numbers are there for a reason, and they are very accurate most of the time.

For instance taking the Knicks spread tonight is a very bad idea based on the way the line has moved since it opened. It doesn't mean the knicks can't cover, or even win the game. It just means that if you followed the number the smart play is on the spurs. If you study line movement and track it you will get a better understanding of value in the line movements. the total can also help you determine the spreads sometimes if they move up or down. Also certain numbers have a better chance of being successful than others. It just takes a lot of gambling experience to figure it out. I once gambled on games based on reading material and it never worked out. I prefer tracking the lines, but that's just me. to each his own

Oh, I am feeling a little more comfortable with the idea.

Its not that the game is fixed. But the lines consider all the factors that influence the game (like weather, injuries etc) and adjust themselves. Right?
And also the fact that the benefit is felt in the "long haul" makes sense.

                            Thanks!

yes, exactly right. Nothing to do with being fixed. Even if it were fixed who could know which side it was fixed for? I just play the numbers and hope they hit their FT's at the end.

with the way the Thunder line has moved I wouldn't be surprised to see the game come down to a game winner or FT's at the end.

8-5-2 spurs got me good. Line movement didn't tell the truth in this one.
