I went with that because the Cavaliers are missing Anderson Varejao, and possibly Mo Williams as well. Like I said, I'm a noob to NBA, so it will be a learning process.

Nah not knocking you or even saying it's not possible. The numbers for double digit spreads favour the dogs though and at 13 i would say it would be considerably higher at +13 so it's a +13 or no play at all for me.

What do you think of my other picks? Some of them I obviously bought a few points until I felt comfortable. Hopefully I hit 5 out of the 8 at least.

The Bucks +4 and Jazz -3 I have not put in yet. I decided to come on here and get some opinions before I went with it.

Your picks aren't bad by any stretch but i would weigh up buying points vs value. Couple of the other posters would have more in depth insight into this though.

A lot of point buying today, but hopefully it pays off. I capped the Celtics -4, but in that regard, wouldn't the Timberwolves +8 be a better play? At the current moment, I have decided to only bet on home teams. You just never know how a team playing away will show up.

to be fair, you should post units along with the record, after all you are buying points in some or all cases so a loss is a good deal more than a -1.00 loss. With point buying you really have to hit a high percentage to make money long term.
