well I don't think you can hold him accountable based on the bet never being confirmed. Just my opinion though. there was never a two way mutual agreement on the wager prior to the 2H beginning.

Usually someone offers someone accepts and then both say agreed. That never happened. He never offered it to you personally it was a general offer. If I were you I wouldn't feel obligated to pay up if your side loses either. He can't come in here later and try to claim profit when he never finalized.

I always pay up on my end too! I'm not saying he wouldn't for sure, but he left a window opened for his escape if the heat didn't come back. It seems like a one way deal to me. Just saying!
