        David West

Hornets All-Star David West will not play in Monday's game against the Bulls as he recovers from a sprained right ankle suffered on Friday. The N.O. Times-Picayune has been regularly updating West's injury, so check back for his status heading into Wednesday's game. Mar. 17 - 11:44 am et

        Chris Paul

Hornets point guard Chris Paul is expected to start Monday's game despite having a sore left ankle. The injury has robbed Paul of some of his quickness, but he posted 14 points and 14 assists in Sunday's game and should be in all fantasy lineups heading into the new week. Mar. 17 - 11:37 am et

        Washington Wizards

Caron Butler (hip/wrist), Brendan Haywood (knee) and Antonio Daniels (hip/wrist) all went through Monday's shootaround and are expected to play tonight.

There's still no update yet on Gilbert Arenas, who said he was going to have an MRI exam on his left knee today. We should know more in the next couple hours. In addition, Antawn Jamison was named the East's Player of the Week, while Amare Stoudemire won the Western Conference honor. Mar. 17 - 2:49 pm et

Gilbert Arenas will undergo and MRI on Monday, and if the test yields good news he could return as soon as Wednesday. He recently admitted, however, that a clean MRI and doctors' approval aren't the only things standing between him and the hardwood.

"It's like I'm holding a $100 million lottery ticket and the only way I can lose it is by going out and getting injured again," Arenas said, referring to his impending free agency. "We'll see what the doctors say [Monday] and go from there." Mar. 17 - 10:56 am et

        Chris Kaman

Clippers center Chris Kaman (lower back pain) missed his fourth straight game on Saturday and his status going forward is in serious jeopardy. "Chris is going to be out a while," said Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy. "It doesn’t make sense for us to take any risks with him."
