* PHX is just 2-4 ATS as a DD fav in 1H and for full game. First half in that situation (most recent first): -6, -8, +2, +19, +21, +4. PHX hasn't covered as a DD favorite since the first week of December. Just not a situation that motivates the Suns. (Also, earlier this month they were up at the half by 21 in Boston)

All Star break can interrupt motivational trends; a fresh new start, or a team recommiting to a certain aspect of its game, so at the risk of overanalyzing I'll take a cautious angle.
* When not covering in 1H as DD fav, PHX is 0-4 ATS in 2H.
