    Hawks v Knicks o/u 202 Overnight Discussion
    lean on the o202 overnight

one factor though, Curry is out, obviously. He only logged 9 pts in 20 minutes of playing time last meeting in Atlanta, with Lee picking up 28 minutes, 6 points. Anyone think Curry being in/out will help or hinder the over 202?

Thanks and bring on the thoughts...

I haven't personally made a play on this myself, as the only thing I wanted to take on this game was the spread (Knicks +2). However, I did a little research on it, and I have a small lean on the Under for these reasons...
    • The average PF for the Knicks is 95.2, and the average PF for Atlanta is 96.2.
    • The average total of their last 4 meetings was 191.5.
    • 2 of 3 games played @ New York over the last 3 seasons have gone under the total.
    • The last time they met at the Garden the score was 94-82 for a total of 176.
    • Their last meeting (in Atlanta on 2/29) the total was 192.
    • The only game I'm showing in the past 3 seasons that they scored over 202 was on March 3rd, 2007.

Best of luck with whatever you choose man.

thanks for the replies. I don't typically take into account a team like the Hawks 2 years ago as so much has changed with them since..., but those are some staggering numbers. I think the line is fair, still lean o202.

          still debating...

Atlanta is the play here. They've got eight more wins, score a point more, allow three points less, have already beaten NY this season and are 2-2 in their last four, whereas NY is 1-3 and in their last eight games have won just once - a three-point win over the pathetic Heat.

lean is on the under here. last month's game ended up 99-93 if i remember correctly. no curry this time around (not necessarily a bad thing for the over), zeebo is not 100%. could easily see another 9x to 9x game

207 points, fairly close to the line, went over though. Nice to see my overnighter hit.

                        cheers.

Plenty of VERY simple, very profitable rules to winning money by betting the NBA: Find nice totals to exploit, bet on the Rockets and FADE awful, horrible, pathetic, dogsh!t teams like Miami and the Knicks.

Austin, great call on the over. If you don't mind me asking, what exactly led you to believe that it would go over?

part just a gut call. Other part is I always look at the home team as the team that controls pace. In this matchup I never saw the Knicks slowing Atlanta down and felt the pace would be pushed. Not to mention that Knick games have been going over at almost a 60% clip for the season.

hopefully this thread has given me some new luck in returning to SBR

                              cheers
