...and dat - celtics/bucks under 208.5 - was so right on the money! hmmmm maybe. just maybe ill start considering o/u from now on.

I was against the Pacers total and had Bos/Mil under as my best bet of the day which I also doubled down on the under for the 2nd H as a gift.

Over and Under are great bets but tricky sometimes. Mudane I didnt look at ur bets yet because I want to see if it would match with mines when Im done, but if there is a bet that matches mine I might put a little extra on that bet.

If you dont mind me asking how much time did you put in your picks?

I don't like the under at all Mundane...Houston seems to step up and score a lot more against top-tier teams. I have yet to cap this game but didn't like it at first glance.

not as much as i would on a spread pick. on this experiment, around 3-5 minutes each totals. looking up some stats, standing, who's tired etc etc etc..

Cool, thanks for the honesty. I dealt with people that say I spent an 1 hour or 2 on each game getting some research. In my situation I do spend alot of time on each game but I dont take all the credit on my picks. My uncle's take a part in these picks so I really spend time on 3 games my other uncles spend time on his 3 games and so on. After we have our results we than share among each other. Some people say I play to many picks but that is because they are pretty strong. Cant wait to match mines with yours.

and yeah... i only spent dat tiny amt of time bcoz it was juzz an experiment and i posted it before the first game just for fun. but since u seem to be interested and im also interested in delving more into this, ill put more time starting right about now!

well there's one thing.. i like watching UFC. so when nba season is over and UFC is still exciting. i might start betting on it. currently i just grab the 'odds' on ufc fights from my sportsbook and glance at them. no inclination on betting on them (yet). :P

Too be very honest with you guys last season I did ok in fact if it was up to me it was not worth the time for me betting on baseball last season. I didnt do bad but my profit overall the season was under $1000.00. This season should be better because I have my family helping me out so it should be a great season.

Profit is better than loss though...let's have a good season. Never a bad thing to have multiple minds working on it. I hear that their are some very good baseball cappers on this forum and that it can be a real money maker.

That is good to hear, I hope there are some good baseball cappers b/c baseball is a little complicated.

It is hard for me to trust a cappers picks b/c I like cappers that spend time to analyze their picks.

When I started betting on sports I was 16, betting local and I met a capper online promising to make me alot of money so I felt for it (I was only 16) so I lost around $3000.00 in service from him so this is a reason I joined this forum I dont anyone to fall for their traps.

This is just a reason why its hard to trust picks from other people but Im sure other feel the same when I offer free picks.

I hear what you are saying...there are a few people on here that I will tail every now and then but I know that they put in the time and have a track record to prove themselves....when I first started betting basketball I paid for a service since I had no clue what I was doing and that did not turn out well either.

One thing I will say is that totals lines are much weaker than spreads, and they're less prone to be "upset," like many teams are on a nightly basis. You get some bad beats (Sac-Phx NOT going over last night), but it's pretty consistent. To be honest, I need to look more into totals myself.
