Nets have looked pretty solid recently, and the Hornets are horrible. I think this line's just baiting the public.

You mean the fact that New Orleans has won 78.6% of its home games and New Jersey has won 14.3% of their road games doesn't mean anything? I think given those ratios that 8 1/2 points is a gift.

On these suspicious games I usually just throw .5-1U and nothing more. That way if you win you'll be saying to yourself "why didn't I bet more?!" instead of "WHY DIDN'T I BET?!!?!?!!?!?" which is better in my opinion. If you lose you'll be saying "Man! I'm an idiot!" but so will 85%+ of the public. Plus its only money, right?

There are idiots on SBR who only play the spread because they don't know how to value a money line. Now, they also don't know how to value a spread because they complain if a team is being given "too many" points (whatever that means). Since they don't know how to value a line, any line that is above 3 seems "fishy" to them. I always tell them to go back to playing Doom and stay away from the adults who are here trying to make money.
