Thunder -6.5 @ Bobcats

Looks like a high line for the Thunder, but Gerald Wallace is not playing, and Steven Jackson will probably not play as well. Even if Jackson does play, his elbow is really bothering him. Bobcats are on a back to back and are just not playing well at all. They have lost 3 straight. Thunder are playing well and only getting better in this young season.

Thunder -6.5 is the solid play tonight.

Or 5 point tease it with the Mavs if you want to bet on the safe side.
(Mavs +8 /Thunder -1.5)

But -6.5 is the play. GL.

I feel like I'm learning a lot while I've been capping NBA on a daily basis and this looks like the perfect square play. People see that the Cats got routed in Washington last night, on a B2B and see a soft 6.5 line for the Thunder.. perfect time to take the points IM O

Yea, I admit its a square play, but the line is high for a reason. Anybody betting on the Bobcats knowing about key injuries is gonna lose. There not a superior team. So without those players, Thunder will dominate. You can try and fade the public because you are to cool for the public bet. But square plays cash fellas.

Another interesting thing I just noticed-- After today Charlotte doesn't play again until Monday the 27th. Gotta think they wanna rebound after last night and start their 6 day Christmas vacation with a Win... or at least a cover.

How is Charlotte going to score without Wallace and either with a very hobbled Jackson or without Jackson? They won't be able to keep up with Oklahoma City with DJ Augustin and Tyrus Thomas as their leading scorers.

It's the same team as yesterday that could only score 75 points against the Wizards...

Haven't seen a THING from the cats this season that makes me think that they wanna rebound in a situation like this. I think it's more likely that they're all looking forward to going home and watching hockey games in their snuggies or something.

OKC on the other hand have generally been playing strong ball all year long and have been kind of embarrassed here and there recently. THEY are the ones looking to smash the hell outta someone (like the Wallace-less cats) and rebound from some struggles.

I think it's crazy to put $ on CHA right now (against anyone, really). Just ask Michael.

Larry Brown has lost his team, Jordan stepped in last week and chewed them out after a loss. Jackson and Wallace have said there is no team basketball being played right now. Brown has tried to get the team to come together but he appears he has quit on them also. Talk out of Charlotte is trading Jackson or Wallace or even both, but Charlotte is said to be asking to much for the two.

No point in even discussing this. Taking the Bobcats is just NOT a smart bet. Augustin is a defensive liability and won't be able to contain Westbrook, and Durant has been stepping his game up after a bad start to the year. He's shooting almost 50% from the field this month, so his shooting woes are behind him. The Bobcats have only two perimeter threats and nothing else. No post presence or anything. I have OKC teased.

Bad arm and all, Jackson has been upgraded to probable. Still, last night he showed the injury was bothering him. He's on my Fantasy bench this week for a reason. The Chancellor also made a good point on Durant recently improving from his slow start.

I think MJ is out of pep talks, read the last one he had he was pissed and yelling at them. Jordan loves Brown so he will not fire him during the year. The train wreck will continue.

Square play and the public do win. Look at Utah and Dallas last night. Both were square plays and having more of the public being on them and still won. Too bad I didn't lay any money on them even though I liked both plays. Charlotte without Wallace has been buried twice badly and I don't think that playing at home will make them that much better against OKC. Bobcats are just playing really bad this season.
