Basketball is back in the Big Apple!
What a great feeling it is to actually WANT to watch a Knicks game now. The crowd into it just brings me back to the days when I loved watching guys like Starks, Mason, Oakley, Smith, Harper, Ewing, Houston, etc. It was like the dot com bust in the late 90's with the Knicks, they sucked for years, no excitment in MSG. I know it's a little to early in the season to get excited, but coming from a life long Knicks fan this just brings back some memories. Next all they need if they make the playoffs is to bring back the "Go new york go new york go," intro they had in the early-mid 90's when they went deep in the playoffs

The 13-1 record prior to tonight's game didn't tell you this?

They started 2 - 8 or something like that so something kicked in for them!

It's a good point, but I don't think Melo would screw things up. Think about it the Knicks need someone to make a shot at the end of the game BESIDES Amare.

Maybe you'll get somewhere in the playoffs since this guy is retired :P

Would of been great if they pulled off the upset of the Celtics. So close.

great game, I think getting Carmelo would disrupt the team chemistry....

All I see is D'Antoni trying to recreate his Suns. Amare was a big piece. But this movie looks extremely familiar (although the East coast may not have had the same steady diet of Suns games). Spoiler alert. If you wish not to know how this ends, look the other way. The Knicks count again, but soft defense becomes their downfall in the playoffs.
