Rockets/Hawks

Ok I'm on Houston in this game, but the only thing that would make me consider the ATL in this one would be that Houston has lost 3 straight in the ATL and 12 of the last 15. Other than that, it will be a tough one for the Hawks since they're giving up over 100 pts a game and the Rockets haven't allowed more than 100 in the last 17 games. They're only giving up about 90 pts. a game during their run.

There won't Be many people on Atlanta not unless half the team quit.You just can't turn your back on a team that has covered 11 games in a row.I guess I'm just like everybody else I'm gonna ride it out......They have really surprised the hell out of me,when Ming got injured Im thought they would start to fade some,but they have just gotten better.

Def agree with you. I kept betting against them once they lost Yao and have lost each time. I decided I should give in and ride the streak until it ends. Now since I'm going to take them tomorrow for the first time, they will probably lose.

I mean the only slight hesitation that I do have is that ATL really needs this win, being the 8th spot in the East and all and Chicago (the Nets are not going to make the play offs) right behind them. The Rockets players have plenty of motivation too, and have had great defense with decent scoring coming from players besides tmac.

Rockets covered the last 11 games and won by at least 10 their last 10 games. I was fortunate enough to pick them these past 10 games they played. After sometime I stopped analyzing their games and just picked them blindly. Atlanta lost their 5 of last 6 games SU by double digits (sole victory came over Miami by 3 while being a -9 pt favorite @home!). Of course, they lost to solid teams, but who says Rockets aren't solid? And if they lose, then 10-1 is a pretty good run too.

This is a huge game for the hawks if they want to make the playoffs for the first time in how many years?? they are a young team and you know they will be pumped to be the team to end the streak...hawks are also much better at home and an athletic team...this will not be a blow out game..I'm actually taking the hawks ml on this one and will tease them to get +13.5 with 2 other teams on another play...public will pour money on them until they lose...the first loss when ever it happens will cash nicely and with this being a difficult place for the rockets to win it could be this game

this is what i'll be doing.. waiting for everyone one and there dog to take houston -5.5 let it get up to hopefully 7.5/8 then take the points and the hawks and cash. simple

I am capping this game at Rockets by 12. I know this game is important for ATL, but so was the rest of the season and their record is worse than Sac-town (and in the Eastern conference!). The Rockets have a great mind set, and they are beating elite teams at home mavericks and new orleans by large numbers. Maybe I am missing something but if the fact that ATL needs the win is the only reason to bet Hawks, then I am going to continue being all over Rockets.

i got Rockets at -5.5, almost pulled the trigger at 5 but didn't...if I lose on them tonight so be it, they have made me oodles of money these past 2 weeks, but I am not sure this is a lock at all....ATL will probably be without Guard Acie Law, but I do believe that it will be closer than everyone thinks...plus Rockets may be looking ahead to their showdown with some of the elite Western Conference later this week....

sure houston is on a streak, but atlanta has something to play for and their at home, being a dog here im sue theyll come out strong

I got the Hawks at +5...was hoping to wake up and see at least 6 but that didn't happen so I settled with 5. I like the reverse line movement as well.

Dallas is even better at home, yet they lost. Please, don't make excuses like "no Dirk". You're not a good team if losing 1 guy makes you a bad team. And please don't forget that Rockets had no Yao against Dallas, as well as against Denver and New Orleans.

Rockets have something huge to play for here too...Becoming 1 of 3 teams to win 20 straight...Just as much incentive to win as ATL has to go to the playoffs....
