• Boston Celtics -1 (1st Quarter)
Celtics plenty of energy in tank, after NO EFFORT required to dispatch Charlotte (63 pts)
Knicks-opposite. How many points can they score b4 they crash? They may get something cooking, but will take 12 min. to brew.. Amare must have an off-Half at some point. He got the record (most consecutive games over 30 pts. NYK history) he will relax for 12.

• LA Lakers -1.5 (1st Quarter)
Lakers jelling more. 2nd Quarter last game showed that. Bynum and Gasol getting every rebound means the need for perfect shooting by Indiana. Pacers slipping last few games.. hard to imagine them running with a hot Laker team, when all LA needs is a single bucket to cover.

• Houston Rockets +2.5 (1st Quarter)
The line is just too rich for the 1st Quarter. Sure, Thunder are a better team and at home, but Rockets have been coming out blazing last couple of games, and while Oklahoma has been as well, I just don't see covering 3 pts against a team oi expect to come out. I do not think that Houston will be ahead by 8 pts after 1st like i do Boston... but they could be a single point ahead or behind, and thus will cover i expect.

Milwaukee blew it's load last game, coming back and beating Mavs on the road, and ending their big streak. Good luck pulling that off twice in Texas, against a superior Spur team. Spurs are notably better than Mavs.

Hard to imagine CELTS coming out hard after an incredible 2H and a blistering final 3 minutes. The emotional victory and physical fallout will keep them down i expect for 12 minutes while the HAWKS try to show what they can do without Smith after the trade. I think they have some buckets stored up that they did not use in their last game vs.. the Pistons (80 pts).

• Denver Nuggets PK (1st Quarter)
Nuggets seem to have very good scoring ability of late, and last couple of games, seems like SPURS are struggling to be their old selves.. SPURS barely managed to squeak past the Bucks at home. Factor in travel time, and a fight with Eva Longoria, and it should for a slow beginning in Denver. Nuggets able to be the better team for the first 12 min.

• New York Knicks +1.5 (1st Quarter)
KNICKS had the Celtics, and let them go. They will be pissed off and fight hard coming out. Heat BARELY got by Cleveland (at home) and only took control in the 4th. They will come out slower. 10 win streak very impressive, but each and every one takes something out of you. Knocks start faster.

• New Jersey Nets+1(1st Quarter)
NETS coming off win (at last) and want to string together more than a single victory. Nets have lost 5 straight to Rartors, and will play with something extra, at least early. Toronto won those contests with Bosh, who will be playing tonite, but in another country.

• Charlotte Bobcats +2 (1st Quarter)
BOBCATS might play without Wallace, but HAWKS without Smith (traded) and ikely Johnson (elbow) and Crawford (back). I think the absence will hurt the CATS but sometimes a missing safety net is exactly what a team (and people) need to wake up.
