No, they would be "no plays" if Syracuse is less than -4 (as in -3.5, -3, -2.5 and so on)

Read a couple of pages going back. This is explained several times.

Yes. Well, sort of.

As he points out, he recommends getting the best line possible, and is listing the cutoff point. If you see a line moving up, don't wait for it to go higher. He's not saying to wait for it to go higher, just that if it winds up going down below the cutoff point, it's a no play.

Since I can see the same questions coming up again and again (hasn't happened that much yet, but I expect it will happen), maybe it would be a good idea to come up with an FAQ and post it every so often, or at least have the post number (and maybe edit the first post of the thread to include it) so that when people ask, we can just say, "see the 1st post", or "see post number ..."

You can buy points on plays, but it doesn't have anything to due with the line system, the system plays are based on, that a majority of casinos are in agreement with the lines.
