They are -9 against GSW.
Is it still okay to fade Dallas at home?

#2They have covered the last few times at home, but Golden State usually plays Dallas tough if I recall right and Jason Kidd gets killed by fast guards like Ellis and Curry. I'm on the +9.Comment -

#5I'm on the other side of this because the Warriors seem to struggle to cover vs. quality opposition so far this year:
1. Warriors are 0-5 (average losing margin 18.8 points) this season vs. teams that have winning percentages above 0.500
2. Warriors are 1-4 ATS this season vs. teams that have winning percentages above 0.500. The 4 ATS losses (to Lakers (x2), Spurs and Nuggets) were all by a margin of at least 14.5 points. The single ATS win (over Oklahoma City) was by only 1.5 points and required a 39-24 4Q surge.
3. Warriors are 2-5 ATS (the two covers were by 8.5 vs Jazz back on 11/5 and by 2 vs Grizzlies; the 5 ATS losses were by an average of 9.5 points) this season against teams that shoot field goals at >42% in their previous 3 games. Mavs have scored at 50% 52% and 41% last 3 games.
4. Mavs have covered the spread in their last 3 home games.
Of course, small sample size, lies damn lies and statistics, blah blah blah. Good luck!Last edited by smallbluedonkey; 12-07-10, 07:46 AM.Comment -

#8Should be a toss for the spread, but there's definitely value in the Warrior pulling off a win to breaks the Mavs streakComment -
