Agreed. Is the methodology basically taking advantage of short-term inconsistencies with the lines? I mean books can't possibly be spot on every minute, every quarter, every play...or can they?

specially on totals for quarters. And live bet if you have the time and discipline you can do great at betting the NBA! I track all my bets by sports, by type of bet, by capper (if I was tailing someone or if its my own play), by odd etc.....my strongest and most profitable is NBA Live betting.

I generally bet 3-5 units unless stated otherwise. So bet your normal bet amount. If I feel it deserves more I will let everyone know. I bet the quarters, so I normally go bigger on 2nd and 4th quarter bets, but I know most of you cant bet this way especially in Vegas.
