In nocoin's defense there have been numerous examples of a team playing well when their star or main scorer is out temporarily.
The line factors in this and the public thinks they know something Vegas doesn't when a star is out and ends up dead wrong.
That said, I am no touching this game and although percentage wise the bets may be one sided, do you really think the public is going to get "buried" on this crap game? I don't think the action will be too large on this one personally.

It is called "The Ewing Theory" and it is absolutly true. Teams missing their "best" player sometimes perform better without them. Google "The Ewing Theory". You will find some good reading on the subject.

Agreed about Ewing Theory btw. Nice point by NC here. Usually, specially in NBA, I remember games where one side is missing a important player. All public rushes on other team. And team with missing player usually covers the spread, lol. Well, one player may be missing but it doesnt mean that they will play 4 person.

I almost always fade a team in its first game back from a long WC trip, and with a star player back in the mix for the first time in a while, I hit it pretty big.
