We will discuss what plays we like. Certain key facts
and stats,hometown info,etc. When your capping
a game and see something you like mention in it
in here so your fellow brother can eat too. So
people what do you like? and why?? I will comment
on every play that is mentioned on here. O.K lets
show the world how we do our thing!!!

Played these three:

Miami +8 - Definitely my favorite, as Miami has been resilient all year, and BC has as yet to win an ACC game by 8 points in 11 tries.

UL-Lafayette -2 - Lafayette starting to play as well as some thought in preseason, and expect them to beat a New Orleans team that has had a long, strange season.

California -3 - I bet this from a numbers standpoint as Arizona continues to be highly overrated. Something is starting to worry me about this game, but I can't pinpoint it.

Of the 4 propositions tomorrow the over in PHX looks best to me. I'm surprised it is that low -- I thought there would be more of a reaction to HOU's big number at LAC. GS tonight didn't score too many -- maybe it WAS Houston's offense against the Clips.

If you want that over you might do well to get it early . . .

Yeah, don't take many road faves, but this one may as well be a neutral court game. Certainly think any line movement would be towards Lafayette here - probably closes at 2.5.

Miami is starting to move down in some places. I could see that closing as low as 6.5.

JayEdgar, I also like the over in Phx. Only concern for me is if Houston tries to play really tight defense, but given their game against Clippers i would not think so. I would have prefered getting more points for Rockets but took them +5.5. They are on a really good run now and in excellent form. They like to play away and Phx is not significantly better in home games. Suns returning from Denver to play b2b at home. I just see a slight advantage for Houston here.

Took these for starters. Might get some more depending on the line changes.

Good stuff guys! I think NBA is a shaky bet right now with players looking
forward to ALL-StAR game. Guys doesn't this stat make Razz's play on
LA-Laf look really good..

PHX 1H -3.
PHX is 10-1 ATS in 1H without rest. Would have been better if they had lost the 2H SU last night in Denver, but hey. PHX will want to finish strong before the All Star break, and HOU is far too slow to keep up with them. Always funny to see a clueless Yao jogging up and down the court while the ball flashes by him.

Saturday. I may put some money on Raja Bell and Q. Richardson to win the 3-pt contest.

B.C. +8 agree with Razz and imgv on this one...like Hite and Diaz to keep them in this one...B.C. plays grind it out ball and am thinking this should be a good game...

Cal -3 I've watched as much Pac 10 basketball as I have any conference in the country...like Razz, I kept trying to find a reason not to take Cal here...but I really can't...Cal has the home court, the better big men, the better guards and the deeper team (I think the older Wilkes should play in this one)...

Marquette -1 believe they've lost one home game all year...Georgetown had some shooting problems in the second half vs. WVU and am hoping that will continue here...Marquette's a bubble NCAA tournament team, and a win could do a lot for them here (see Colorado last night)...

Did you know Houston is 20-8 ATS on the road so far this season and 10-1 as a road dog of 3.5 to 6pts and has won 7-1 SU L8?

Did you know Chicago is a miserable 7-17 ATS at home and an equally miserable 1-6 ATS as a favorite of 3pts or less?

Razz I think it was you who mentioned in the past a solid trend in games where the line shift from favoring the home team (Marquette -1 initially) and then shifting to favor the road team (Georgetown now -1.5). The solid pick being the home team.
Is this right? Anybody else have thoughts. I really like Marquette tonight.

Not sure if this is a reverse favorite or not, as I think it actually opened at pk em at most places, briefly went to Marquette -1, and now has Georgetown the favorite.
I do like Marquette in this game, and will play them if the line rises a little more.

I think Mami is a soild play at +8

I like Ark. Little Rock at +3.5 vs Western Kentuckey ALR is a soild home team and only lost to WK by 4 on the road. I will take the 3.5 and also look for the out right ML win

I also feel the same about South Alabama and Troy +1.5

Two other opinions:

UIC +10.5 - Butler remains an overrated team, and I don't expect them to cover tonight. Ill-Chicago is the more explosive team, already beat Butler by 10 once this season, and I expect this to be a very close game. Butler doesn't need to be laying 10.5 points to a team they aren't better than.

Jacksonville St. -5 - JSU has revenge here from an earlier loss when they were playing poorly. They have been playing very well in recent weeks, especially at home. This game is of extreme importance to JSU, as they are in 4th place in the OVC, and the top 4 teams receive a first-round bye in the conference tournament.

Square bettors have a lot of confidence in the Houston Rockets’ ability to put the ball in the hoop.

At least that`s what the odds are saying after the total for tonight’s meeting with the Phoenix Suns was bet up 3 1/2 points in action today. The total now sits at 203 1/2 after opening at 200 points.

“That’s all square bettors laying limit bets,” says BetCRIS.com linesmaker Shane Catford. “To tell you the truth it caught us a little bit off guard.”
