    Oklahoma City/NO Over 200
    anybody else love this pick???

Oklahoma City is 8-1 on the over/under on the season at home and New Orleans defense has broken down a bit recently. 3 out of their last 4 games (utah, clips, spurs) they have given up average of 105 points while allowing 49% field goal shooting

I can easily see like a 108-103 type score in this game

I've been leaning on the UNDER on this game but haven't locked it in yet. New Orleans has an above average defense but OKC has been scoring alot of points at home.

      Still thinking about this one.....

new orleans defense really hasn't been playing that well recently brah

they played great against portland but they got shredded vs San Antonio and Utah. They gave up 99 points and 48+ FG shooting against the clippers

meanwhile, OKC averages 105 points per game at home

I have it statistically projected to go around 194.5. Take it for what it is worth. I have no action on it either way though.

There are better games to play on the board today, no need to risk your dollars on a coin flip

Oklahoma City has had 1 game all year with less than 200 points

Go take a second look. There last two games alone have been under 200 (in regulation), and 4 of their last 6 have gone under 200, one was 163, and another 173.

A couple things to keep in mind here

1)2 of those 6 games, they didn't have durant or green (which is about 40% of their offense)

2)4 of those games (the ones that went under 200) were all on the road, the 2 home games averaged 216 points

3)this game is IN oklahoma city, OKC averages like 95 points per game on the road, but around 105-110 points per game at home

4)every Home game this year has gone over 200 for OKC, with the exception of the boston game

105 points at home is against some of the higher scoring teams in the NBA.
                        (8th) Chicago
                        (10th) Utah
                        (12th)Boston
                        (20th) Philadelphia
                        (26th)Portland
                        (3rd)San Antonio
                        (6th)Houston
                        (11th)Minnesota
                        (22nd)Dallas

Only 3 out of the 9 are higher then 12th in points scored per game.

Philadelphia allows over 100 per game on defense.

I see what your saying Brahma and the factors you are considering relating to the over look good but I have noticed many supporting the under in this game. OKC's home scoring record may indicate the over is the correct play but the hornets road points for and points allowed record contradicts this. Both teams on B2B and both playing their 3rd game in 4 days, chances are we will see a slower paced game than usual. I side with the UNDER in this one.. good luck either way and even better luck with Utah -8.5 lets get em!!

here is the thing with this game that sells it for me. OKC has played 2 very defensive minded team/slow teams in Portland and Dallas and those 2 games both had over 214 points scored (dallas is basically the same team as new orleans)

it's really kind of the opposite effect of the bulls playing unders. No matter who that team plays, they seem to make it a slow grinding type of game (and the scores seem to always go under the line)

I don't think it's really a great play, but it's one of the few plays that have a 55+ % chance of happening with only 4 teams playing
