My NBA Live thread

^^ 1 unit each, I hope at least 1 wins to make a profit.

I'm used to live games with soccer. But I see a lot of value in NBA as well. I don't like pre-match bets, I think there are better cappers like sweetjones, goatmilk and LB who provide that kind of information. But when it comes to watching and following the momentum of a game live this is where I find the edge.

Hawks were absolute garbage, I can't believe people thought they were favorites in this match up. Mavs had a shit load of turn overs and they Hawks still couldn't take advantage. As for Miami, fade them when Wade is gone, LeBron is overused in that team and Bosh is going to do nothing.

If main players like JJ and Jamal C. played their normal game, they would've easily won it.

Mavericks were bad, but that makes the Hawks even more bad. I watched the 1st half, that's all I needed to make the bet. Maybe Hawks worked harder than Dallas in the 2nd half but they got outscored by 9 points in the 2nd quarter. All the value was on Mavericks IMO.

But Atlanta underperformed... but so did Nowitzki. Anyways good call.

my plans:

-Taking Golden State 2nd half. Might take them earlier if I see something in the 1st quarter, but in general I'm waiting for better odds on the +11.5 and maybe even ML.
-same plan with Sacramento
-following same plan with the Wizards game except might have to take them earlier against Detroit

its alright mate, love the conservative style. Im not a fan of playing more than 3 games per night or playing on uncertain games. Hope to hear more from you in the days to come (I just recently started payings attention to hoops so.. hehehe)

LIve is the most profitable market out there. Just always have a strategy when betting live and know who exactly is on the court when you decide to place your bet. For example at times I will wait until Kobe sits at the end of the first quarter if I'm betting against the Lakers, knowing very well this is when opposing teams will try to take advantage especially if LA is on the road.

If you are watching the game and guys are getting open looks but just not knocking down shots, but you are impressed with their defensive effort and their ability to still get off good shots, most likely you should bet them live ats at the right time. as you know from soccer a lot of live betting is about patience and I remember you were actually very good at picking yoru spots during the world cup.

Live betting is actually my forte but I am trying to stay away from that this year to try and improve my pre-game capping. Good luck homie

Hawks made me enough money losing their last game, thought they'd have some decency to win but no sweat. The HT Wizards bet was a stretch but the line did drop from +1100 (when I got it) to +300 so it was worth a shot, I'll continue taking lines like this. Should have gone 2 units on Wizards, Philly was never winning that game.

Timberwolves +8.5 -120 (2x)

will play it live too. Gonna wait for the spurs to take a nice lead and then we'll see if it's worth taking Wolves ML/spread again, all I know is the odds will jump a lot and there is lots of public money on Spurs.

Biggest mistake of the season trusting the Thuggets to hold on to a 19 point lead even when Chicago is without Rose. I went big because the line dropped from -3.5 to -6 and with the info I ahd previosuly. Whatever I'll bounce back as long as I con't to win more plays.
