got a question for those that know more about college hoops. is it correct to say that betting on non-nationally televised games (or just non-televised games) in smaller conferences generally "safer" since the market is smaller?

haha its been a rough "few" years I was just looking at wins total is o/u 66.5 wins for the Pirates on the season...Last year had 57 haha

I say over 66.5....they have alot of potential as a team.Correia should help the pitching staff..my boy Matt Diaz should be able to put up some numbers (should get more playing time than he did as a Brave)

I dont see either one helping at all haha.....I see Garrett Atkins playing 1st and Garrett Jones taking over the RF spot or spot duty at first with Atkins...Correia is okay but he wont help this team get 9 more wins. James McDonald was nice at the end of the year but hes been wild his whole career and I expect him to be medicore this year again

Dumping Duke was good....Ohlendorf will be better than 1 win this year...Maholm should be a little better but not much....the only good thing they have is Pedro, Walker, McCutch

Doumit is terrible and Snyder is not much better....they have 12 million dollars tied up in their catchers which is absurd but I guess I'll have all season to bitch about the Pirates management

I'm not sure what you classify as a "SAFER" bet? Its my opinion and I have no statistical data on this but I feel some of the smaller mid major games / teams have less movement because people will focus more on games like UCONN and Marquette because average people follow them more often....I will bet on some of the major conference games from time to time but more often my favorite leagues to watch are the CAA (perhaps the most underrated conference in all of college basketball), Horizon League, Big West, Summit League, Sun Belt....but thats just me everyone is different
