Washington Wizards +13.5
Boston is a great Basketball team but they do not blow teams out. Yes they do win alot of games but for some reason they do not run the score up on teams. To me that shows they are a a team that just wants to win. They do not care if it is by 20 or by 1, a win is a win to them. Boston is 1-4 ATS this year at home and 0-3 ATS as a favorite. They are 4-17 in their last 21 games as a favorite of 11 or more. They are also 1-5 their last 6 against teams with a winning % below .400. Like I said they win the games but they just do not blow these teams out.
Washington on the other hand is actually 12-4 ATS their last 16 games against Boston. They actually came into Boston last year as an 11.5 point dog and won outright. The Wizards are actually 6-2 ATS against teams with a home winning % above .600. This is showing me they do not lay down for the strong teams in the NBA.
Boston has been off for the past 3 days. Getting some well needed rest after their 4 games 7 day road trip so this team should be rested but the problem is they play tonight and then have the Thunder coming to town in two nights. I could see them looking past Washington since the Thunder are a big up and coming team in the NBA and like I said they do not blow teams out. Washington will give it their all tonight since usally the Lakers and Celtics see the best of every team since they are the big guns in the League. With Wahsington putting up a fight tonight and Boston jsut doing their thing I see a Boston win by 6-9 points so I will take the Wizards for 1 unit in this game tonight.
