This is an overrated LA team that has been suspect on the defensive side of the floor lately. Denver owns them and I expect that to continue.
Looking at the the teams coming into the game and the trends this is almost a game that is 'To good to be true'. Lakers have been terrible ATS and the Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the league. Carmelo will have a huge game and ofcourse the bench will as well. There is something about this Denver team that plays flawless against the Lakers especially the bench players notably JR and we all know when he plays well they are one of the toughest teams to beat if not the toughest.
For LA to actually beat them, they will have to play like it is a must win playoff game and/or catch a Nuggets team completely flat imo. Would be astonished if the Nuggets aren't ready to go against LA at their building with all the trade buzz aside coming off a big win against OKC
I expected Denver to be favored by 1 or 2 points. With the way it jumped from -1 to +1 so quick leads me to think the line makers and the public think two separate things. Ofcourse, i would rather be on the side opposite of the public. What also is puzzling is im showing DEN ml at -104 and LA at -106 but there is a one point spread. I was planning on taking the ml if a dog but will go ahead and take the point at -109.
I put five units on the game tonight and we will see what is to become tommorrow. Could be adding more so stay tuned.
