Call Me Crazy, But I Like Denver ML Tonight
The timing is right for a public slaughter, I think. The recipe is cooking: Lakers on a 8-0 run, Denver stumbling horribly against a near-perfect INDI team last outing, now back as a small home dog?

I don't know if anyone cares or remembers, but: Beware the Thursday home dog!

Lakers' 1st home loss of the season: +135

I think betting the ML on Denver is a lil risky, but hey this is gambing right ! I personally am betting Denver to cover the spread. Last year Denver won 3 of 4 against LA. Tonight could be LA's first loss, they have to loose to someone.

Denver doesn't know how to play defense look what the Pacers did to them. Lakers will slaughter them tonight if the Nuggets don't play some half ass defense. Good luck with the play though

Not really going out on a limb. Denver has given LA problems after trading for Billups. They even went into LA last year and ran them off the court.

Why bet against the streak? LA isn't just winning, they're playing well. Everyone is rolling. Lakers win tonight.

On a side note, take the over in the lakers/denver game. Denver is due for a big home game, and after the loss at Indiana and all the public dribble thats now associated with that loss Denver will look to end this by taking down the 8-0 lakers in a a spectacular offensive showdown at the Pepsi Centre. Denver is still a solid team, they were just unlucky to get a very well rested (3 games in 9 days) pacers team on the tail end of a three game road trip. Just my 2 cents

Hmmmmm, I like it but don't see as much value as taking denver straight up. Remember that you are betting against an 8-0 team hungry to maintain a winning record. You'll shoot yourself in the foot if its a close one, but if you like it then its yours for the taking

Here is how I see the matchup:

A team that had 52 pts scored on them in one quarter vs. a team that has a player that scored 81 pts in a game.

Need I say more? You that bet moneyline on Denver are TRULY crazy and true amatures.

This is what I like about forums: people who are sure how the game will end--people who are one notch above amateurs like me.
