Liked over 183 with CLE coming to MIN last game and like this for most of same reasons and just as much. Jazz give up 100 on the road with regularity, even including the last 3 times they had the extra prep day. CLE beat Minny by going zone in second half – if Sloan does same, I am making little leap of faith that rookie coach Casey can dial around in his deep roster of B-minus players to find the shooters and avoid another 61-spot over last 3 quarters.

Indy in comfy 7-game homestand and off rollicking, cathartic blowout of Blazers. Finally healthy/deep enough to recover from chronic bad 1st qtrs (fewer of those lately), plus are rebounding like madmen. Sieve-like GS lately lacks any sign of deal-closing ability on road; may compete early, but better shoot 52% if they want to hang around, because they won’t be getting the misses. (GS outrebounded on road without fail: 34-63 at the Clips recently!!!) To me, IND seems prime teaser material if you swing that way. Like the over as a semi-hedge.

Even without any of Mr. GV94 is smoking, his late-night analysis looks right on to me. Also Bobs should be 2-3 point favorite here. The home losses to non-public teams (NOK and especially ATL) turned people off them a little too much. Got it turned around somewhat now and Bernie is saying the right things to keep them hungry.

LeBron at PG -- plodding, ball-pounding is effective and apparently what the coach wants. EJordan and the Wiz have been talking up defensive intensity in the papers off and on for a month. The last GS game is a bit of an outlier (and inflates the number some more by post time) – in general, Wiz have been D-minded at home. CLE style will help them, and Cavs are road-tough enough to win or take it to the last shot.

Just so you know, I consider the NBA mostly a circus. Players take games off, refs decide many wagers (1 basket is 1% of 200 pt game, so it doesn't take much for the zebras to turn a winning ticket into a loser). This ain't the NFL.

I think this line is a bit deflated. Orlando plays different game at home averaging about 200 points combined with the visiting team in last 2 at home. Both teams are well rested. Orlando has lost 5 of its last 6 after winning 5 straight. Detroit has lost 3 of last 6 and is hoping to build another winning streak. These teams met last time @ Detroit where final score was 108-99 DET. Expecting somewhat high energy game here.

Golden State Warriors @ Indiana Pacers

Indiana, despite few injuries have been really impressive @ home this season and especially in last 3 games. They have beaten Detroit, Clippers and recently Portland by 32 points. their winning margin is average 22 points in last 3. Now Golden State will come to visit. Golden state is improving after a serious slump, but still has problems in away games. They can score a lot, but I'm expecting Indianas defence to keep them in check tonight and claim the 4th victory at home in a row with more than 4 points margin.
