Rhode Island @ Northeastern (NCAAB)

Rhode Island comes into this game with a 5-3 SU record on the season while Northeastern holds a 2-4 SU record so far this season. Rhode Island is an impressive 16-2 SU and 15-3 ATS since 1997 as a road favourite of 3 points or less. They are also 15-2 SU the last 3 years after allowing 80+ points in their previous game. Rhode Island is 6-0 SU vs Northeastern since 1997.

Northeastern are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs a team with a winning SU record. They are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 Wednesday games. Northeastern are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS loss. They are also 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games and 0-5 ATS their last 5 home games when facing a team with a losing SU road record.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota's defense has allowed 11 of it's last 12 opponents to score 100+ points. They are also hit with injuries right now as guards Martel Webster, Jonny Flynn and forward Anthony Tolliver are all sidelined. The Timberwolves have also had problems against the Thunder, dropping 6 consecutive games against them SU. When these two teams last faced each other in OKC in November, the Thunder picked up a double-digit win with a 117-107 scoreline.

Minnesota's problems are coming on both sides of the ball, When looking into offensive figures, the Timberwolves are the worst in the league when it comes to TO's avering 17.8 per game. On defense, they fall right at, or near the bottom in the league in a number of different categories.

With the Thunder currently holding a 14-8 SU record and with KD back in the line-up, OKC are beginning to regain the 'fear factor' that many labelled with with at the beginning of the season. It's clear that OKC forward Kevin Durant has become an elite player in the NBA averaging 27.4 points on 40 minutes per game. The supporting players, Russell Westbrook and Jeff Green are always keeping opponents on their heels combining for 41.8ppg on the season.

The Timberwolves are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 vs Western Conference opponents, 4-11 ATS in their last 15 following an ATS loss and 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 home games.

WOW.. What a night! Rhode Island did a great job to see off Northeastern but Miami almost blew the 1Q play as they dropped a 5 point lead to win by 1 and Oklahoma faught back from 40-22 down after the 1st quarter to cover the -5.5 spread with 7 seconds left on the clock!

Great start to the week as my picks have gone 8-1 over my last 9 plays!

Good revenge spot for Xavier tonight who lost to Butler by 1 point last season. Xavier are 3-0 SU at home this season and will be hungry to get back to winning ways after a loss on the road to Miami Ohio last time out.

Xavier have been impressive following a SU loss as they have gone 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 games in this situation. They are also 23-11-2 ATS in their last 36 games as a home favourite and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a favourite of 6.5 of fewer points.

Butler are still adjusting to life without the 1st round NBA draft-pick Gordon Hayward which is not going to happen immediately.

Well.. I've been looking into tonight's games throughout the day and with the amount of games on tonight's card, you'd think there would be something that stands out for me but that's not the case tonight

I don't want to force plays, if i'm not confident enough with any of my 'potential picks' I will lay off for the night which is what i'm going to do..
