I started posting my plays in misc. threads but the past 3 days have all been in this thread. I like the lakers in this spot, love the over, and for some reason I keep betting the clippers ats (buying points in this one). My only three losses this season have all come from the clippers games so keep that in mind. Really like the super double (lakers +.05 and over 202.5). Cheers.

I capped the game at over 210. Sorry but I
don't look at line movement anymore, affected my decision making 2 much last season and always kicked myself when I changed my initial bet. I guess the exception is when I'm concentrating on injuries and wondering if a player is in or out close to
game time.

Morning guys, i'm in perth so its just after 6am here. Got my coffee brewing so i'll be up and running soon. Had a quick look at todays games. I'll run through my thought process to try and show everyone how I make my plays. Initially thinking the bulls so lets look a bit closer. Knicks 0-2 last 2 games, bulls hit 61% FG last game, 30 point 2H comeback the game before that. Bulls are still showing patches of inconsitency, knicks are keeping things close and will be motivated after the last two games. Knicks are a fast paced team, much like OKC which bulls lost to on their opening game. OKC has only won one game since to Detroit. Detroit has bottomed out every 2nd half and handed the bulls that game. Bulls 61% FG in the bulls last game would be hard to beat no matter who the team. That was impressive. But will Deng rip up the court like he did the other night and will the Bulls continue their high FG%.

Chicago is definately showing us more than New York, I just don't think it will be a blowout game. Knicks tempo should keep this one close. Which side of the coin will you be on?

OKC @ Trail Blazers. When I first started watching NBA last season I was really impressed by the blazers, the depth of the team and how they kept on managing to rally game after game despite the amount of injuries they had. They have started this season equally as impressive, and as mentioned in the previous post took their only loss this season to the Bulls who were throwing up really high numbers. The blazers ats was a gift from the bookies when they faced the bucks, and this line is looking the same. Portland have home court advantage, and okc got ripped apart by the Jazz, another team with depth despite a bad start to the season. OKC are on a b2b loss, so they will be motivated coming into this game. But their stats are just not strong enough in my opinion to show that they can beat the blazers today. If they had made a strong comeback yesterday vs the clippers, I may have taken the +5.5 but I don't see any reason to after their last two performances.

Portland -5.5

Sorry but I like the blazers in this spot. I haven't looked at the totals yet but I do like to take overs when i'm backing the dog.

We got a little to drunk by the 5th hole, and i'm way to sunburnt but an enjoyable day none the less. I'm a little annoyed at my plays on Denver and Phoenix. It's hard to find a balance between emotion, forgetting last seasons team performances and the right play. I took denver cause I kept remembering their blowout home performances, and played phoenix cause I wanted them to win last season. This kind of thought process needs to be overcome in order to be successful in capping the NBA.

If you notice in my previous post regarding my play on the blazers i've still got their performance from last season in my mind. But I still feel strongly about this play.
