They shouldn't have to add two 1st round picks in this deal. It seems way too much to me. Devon Harris can really ball and he is young. J Kidd is great and all but he is old. What you guys think?

Harris is the best defensive PG in the league. I wouldn't trade D-Harris straight up for Kidd.

Kidd is old. I definetly wouldnt be making this trade. We've already seen Kidd's best days.

Mavs needed to do something they were going no place with the team the had. They are taking a 2 year shot at this one. Win it all or start over. Will resign Stack in 30 days. Have to wait and see. If it happens look for Kid to blow up first few games. One thing he loves is to make public wrong.

                Good Luck

Oh yea I love this trade!!!!!!!

Yeah, better to never win a championship, but come close for several years than to actually win one (or two) and then have your future team suffer ...

                      Much better ...

We will just have to wait and see but one thing for sure all of the talk and all they way Dallas handled the whole trade they will not be a team if the trade does not go thru. And N.J. has to do something now hell kid is packed and said he good byes. It will be interesting..

New Jersey knows that Dallas wants Kidd bad and are making them empty their pockets. Just shows you how desparate Dallas is.

I highly doubt the Heat organization or fans regret that title just because they're struggling now. Though some owners will do otherwise, the actual goal is to win a title.

Nobody that Dallas was giving up was relevant to their success/title plans except for Devin Harris. If you think you're a contender on the cusp of a title, giving up a good young player and some very high first rounders for a hungry future Hall of Famer with something to prove and a couple of years left seems like a pretty good idea. Good trade for both teams if it actually ends up working.
