He doesn't have a dominant offensive game against the likes of Kendrick Perkins, but he will own 6'9" Joel Anthony and the old washed up likes of Ilgauskas and Magloire. The Heat will have to double down on Howard which will leave Lewis, Carter, Richardson, Nelson, and Redick on the wing licking their chops.Comment -

#12No, he doesn't have a dominant offensive game period. He has his moments but he hasn't developed his game enough yet. As good teams have figured out, no need to double team Howard. It's not he will drop more than 30 points...Originally posted by jbatcha21He doesn't have a dominant offensive game against the likes of Kendrick Perkins, but he will own 6'9" Joel Anthony and the old washed up likes of Ilgauskas and Magloire. #13How will Dwight Howard stop wade and bron?
He is going to be in so much foul trouble
If you look at the Magic's defense its all about protecting Dwight
If wade and bron slash than dwight wont have a answer.
How will Lewis guard Bosh?!?! lol
How will Vince and Richardson guard wade and lebron
Matt Barnes is gone who are their wing defenders?
Heat can let Dwight get his points but if they shut down the rest of the magic team like Boston did to them last year than the magic will look lost

#14To beat Orlando, you don't stop Howard, you stop their 3pt shooters. That's all this team is, Howard and a bunch of 3pt shooters.Comment -

#17You don't actually watch a lot of basketball, do you? Orlando is one of the premier defensive teams in the NBA and play very well rounded team D. Its not like BOS has a great number of 1 on 1 shutdown defenders.. they simply employ excellent strategy against teams. If Orlando could shut down Bosh and Lebron in previous playoff seasons, what changes now?Originally posted by nikeboyzHow will Dwight Howard stop wade and bron?

#22NO, there are NO shut down defenders... just as BOS has none.. try reading more carefully next time.
My overall point is, you cant pick on match ups, when the NBA is not about that.
With few exceptions over the years, teams might have a Payton or Bowen, but most good Defensive teams act as a cohesive units.
Just look at OKC from last year.Comment -

#23haha, I'm not a heat or magic fan, just find it funny. These arguments go on every single day and it won't change anyone's opinion so why even bother. I'm not going to lie, if I was a heat fan I would love getting Lebron, but I am not, and I just can't stand him and will root against them in every game.Originally posted by nikeboyzYeah he did quit many times during his time with the Cavs but I moved on from that
