I think Boston is the play. Later on in the season I will stay away from playing Boston on their second game in 2 days, but the season is early and Boston usually jumps out to a great start so they can coast through the last half of the year. Last year they started out 23-5 and then finished around .500 for the last 54 games of the season.

I kinda like the Cavs, but this is my first attempt at the NBA, so the Celts are probably golden....

Yeh thought so I just can't see the cavs getting through that defense.

Pierce's tailbone is smarting from LePlow's offensive foul, but he should be
ok enough to work. Perhaps reduced minutes.
The team is looking forward to Delonte West returning from suspension in 9 more
games.. Doc wants to play the big 3 just about 2 minutes less per game once West is available. The idea is that no starter will have to patch up the 2nd unit
once West is in, and both Nate and West will combine for a dual-guard style offense where there is no clear point guard responsible for bringing the ball up.

Mo Williams is a question mark, only played one preseason and is questionable tonight.
he'll play but not much is my guess there.
Cleveland is getting too much home-court love here, the line should be at least BOS -6.
Boston will dominate defensively, Jamison won't penetrate successfully, Moon and Parker
will be contested in their 3 attempts.
Could be a wild start for Cleveland, but if Boston takes an early lead they will fold like a tortilla.
All preseason I've been drooling over the prospect of Vegas and cappers underestimating
this Celtic team, as you all saw last night they are on par.
They will win tonight, and won't allow the Cavs to keep it close in the 4th quarter.
Then it's off to New York Friday for another win 3-0 and a restful weekend.

I kind of feel like its gonna be a close low scoring game. Cleveland may have lost Lebron, but they will still have a good defense.

Taking Boston here in the long run will lose you money ... the books aren't stupid ... That said, celts could still cover but still think it has makings of a trap and I will never bet a game this heavily pounded by the public

I believe the same situation happened last year with the celtics. They beat the cavs on opening night, then traveled to charlotte the next night, were around a 4 point favorite, and everyone assumed it was a trap. They went on to win by 30 or so. I think the season's too early to claim tired legs on a back to back. Just looking at this, the cavs have exactly 3 players who can create their own shot (that includes sessions, which I agree could be argued). The celts are so deep this year, and even though its not mentioned, it is a stop on the shaq playing hard against former team situation.
Also, if Mo Williams couldnt score vs. boston last year, imagine whatll happen when he's the focus and has to chase rondo around.

                                boston -3.5

Yea this si only the 2nd game of the season so I wouldnt fade Boston this early in season on a back to back.

It's does seem to be way to early to be talking about letdowns and back to backs. That information will be useful later in the season, but even then only in certain situations. The problem is that cappers try to use it for every single game they play and it doesn't work that way..
