Sawyer's NBA Totals Thread 2010-2011 Season

I find when I make too many plays, it's tough to win consistently.
So, I was looking to just play one or maybe two of your overs this evening.
Would you be able to rank any of the overs slightly higher than the rest?
If not, no biggie.

No, when you make too many plays, it's not tough to win consistently. Sometimes, I'm playing 1 pick/day, sometimes 6 pick/day, sometimes 2 pick/day. You should pick every game that you believe you have an edge. I have to play all my System Plays. I can't be subjective. I have to bet like a robot. This way, I can stay emotionless all the time. That's why touts' losing streaks are usually long. Too much pressure on them..

On the other side, my system is very mechanic. Zero emotion.

Sawyer likes all his plays the same and does same units for each.

That's right. I don't bet 2 unit on one game and 10 unit on other game. I don't have GOY, GOM, Lock of Millennium either. All plays are for 10 units..or all plays are for 1 unit. It depends on your stake system. Same stake for every play, this is my strategy and your stakes should incraese as your bankroll increases. You can resize your bankroll weekly or monthly. It's up to you!

My advice is, use %5 if your bank is lower then 2000, use %2-3 if your bank is above 10k.

Personally, I'm using %2.5

Unlucky night so far..but you know sometimes it happens. Over the long haul, there will be glorious days, so-so days and bad days. No need to worry about daily results. Even if we go 2-4 today, it's not the end of world. You have to look over the long haul. Patience is the key. If you're not a patient person then sports betting may not be appropriate for you. It's not a get-rick-quick scheme. If somebody think we will win everyday, then he's probably living in Wonderland.

I believe everybody in this thread are realistic enough to know these.

I'm guessing that if Sawyer went and looked at his record by night for last season, he would find a night that he may have been in the red. Guess what, he still finished the season with a winning % in the mid-60s. Boys, if Sawyer won every night we would all put our two week notice in on Monday and just do this full time. The guy has a proven system and the key is that it is over the entire season. I get so tired of seeing people get so negative if a good handicapper has a bad night. There is still a chance we could go 3-3, who knows? At the end of the day, he is a proven winner but when you think about the game of basketball, it still requires human beings to put a ball inside a rim that is twice as big. No system will ever be perfect but if you can get above the 53% number, you will be happy. Have a good night and let's go overs!!

Couldnt agree more, I am realitively new here and tonight was the 1st night i tailed these totals. I'll be on them tomorow no matter outcome tonight.
